This page highlights our key projects and collaborative workshops designed to improve horse welfare and rural security across North Wales. We work in partnership with local communities and authorities to foster safety and awareness.
Projects
We empower our community through educational projects like HorseKind and Clear Your Path, focusing on animal welfare, safety, and rural skills. These initiatives specifically support children and adults of all abilities and NEETs (young people not in education, employment or training), providing a nurturing space to re-engage, learn, and grow through meaningful horse-led workshops and hands-on experiences.
Clear Your Path is a unique 12-week programme delivered in collaboration with Wisdom of Equus. This programme is designed for young people not currently in education, employment or training (NEET).
Working alongside horses and a therapy dog, participants develop valuable life and employability skills in a supportive rural environment.

The HorseKind Project is an engaging educational programme delivered by North Wales Horse Watch that introduces children and young people to the world of horses through fun, interactive learning. Sessions promote equine welfare, personal safety around horses, responsible behaviour, and rural crime prevention, helping participants build confidence while developing a greater understanding of horses and the countryside.
